A former industrial slaughterhouse in Legazpi converted into a sprawling arts city: theatres, exhibition naves, cinema, design spaces and open plazas along Madrid Río. On a good evening you can wander between three different events without planning any of them.
It is the city's proof that public culture can be ambitious and free-range at once.
