This covers farrea.ai — the going-out agenda and the concierge that answers questions about it.

The short version: browsing is anonymous and needs no account. The concierge does need one, and every conversation you have with it is kept against that account — for as long as the account exists, and deleted with it. You can read them back, delete any one of them, or delete the whole account, from the site itself.

What we collect

Four things, and no more than four:

Measurement: which pages you open, which links you click, roughly where you are (country and city, derived from your IP address) and what kind of device you are on. See “Cookies and measurement” below.
Your account, if you make one: your email address, and which events you save. Nothing else — there is no profile to fill in.
The concierge: your conversations with it, kept against your account — every message you send, and every reply it writes exactly as it produced it, which means the listings it looked up and the listings it put on screen are kept with the reply. Each conversation also records the city you were asking about, which model we asked to write the replies, and when it happened — the times are on the conversations page. Separately, counters: how many messages your account sent that day and roughly how much text went through; and, for each answer, the time, the city, and whether the assistant found anything to show you.

The concierge

The concierge is an AI assistant. It answers only from the listings already published on this site, and it will tell you when nothing fits rather than pad the answer.

It needs an account. You can open the page and read it signed out, but sending a message asks you to sign in first — a conversation has to belong to someone before we can keep it for you. Whatever you had typed is not carried through the sign-in; you type it once more afterwards.

We keep the conversation. Every message you send and every reply the assistant writes is stored against your account — the reply as the assistant produced it, so the listings it looked up on the way and the ones it put on screen are kept with it — along with the city you asked about and the model we asked to write it. Keeping the conversation is part of the service you signed in for, and that is the legal basis for it: performance of the service you asked for, art. 6(1)(b). It is not consent — there is no box to tick here and nothing to withdraw. What ends it is deleting the account, which deletes the conversations along with it.

They are yours to open, and yours to remove. “Conversations”, in the menu behind your initial at the top of any city page, lists every one of them with the most recent first; opening one puts it back on screen and you can carry on from where you stopped. Each has a delete control that removes the conversation and every message in it, straight away and for good. None of that collects anything new — it is a way into what is already described here.

We also read what people ask the assistant, in aggregate, to see where it answers badly and what the site should be covering that it does not. That is our own interest rather than part of your service, so it has its own basis and you can object to it — see below.

To write each reply, what you type is sent to the AI provider that generates it (see “Who processes it for us”).

Separately, we keep counters: how many messages your account sent each day and how much text they carried, and — for each answer — the time, the city, and whether the assistant found anything to show you. That is enough to stop one person exhausting a free service and to tell whether the feature earns its place. Those are deleted after 90 days — sooner than the conversations, and on purpose: a counter has done its job within weeks, while the conversation is yours to come back to.

The request we send to the AI provider carries a random identifier generated fresh for that one request and thrown away afterwards. It is not your account id and it is not your IP address.
